BIMSN: new trade association for interim management in Norway

The Association of Interim Management Service Providers in Norway (BIMSN) has been established!

Behind the initiative are Morten Nordli of Interim Norge, Rolf Henrik Svendsen of Incepto Executive and Hilde Lekven of Agile Interim. Together, we have seen a growing need to unite, professionalise and strengthen the interim management industry in Norway.

Interim management has become a strategic tool for companies undergoing change, and the need for experienced leaders who can step into key roles quickly is greater than ever. With the establishment of the Association of Interim Management Service Providers in Norway (Bransjeforeningen for Interim Management Service Providers i Norge, BIMSN), we are taking an important step towards a more professional, transparent and quality-driven industry.

Why BIMSN?

Interim management in Norway has long operated without a common industry standard. By bringing the leading players together in a strong association, we aim to:

• Professionalise the industry – Ensure common quality standards and establish clear rules of the game for interim management in Norway.
• Strengthen the industry's reputation – Increase recognition of interim management as a critical resource for Norwegian business.
• Establish common guidelines and contract templates – Create a predictable and professional framework for collaboration between interim managers, service providers and clients.
• Quality-assure the follow-up of clients and candidates – Ensure that both businesses and interim managers receive the best possible follow-up throughout the process.
• Define standardised terms of sale and delivery – Increase transparency in the industry and ensure professional terms for interim services.
• Be a strong voice for the industry – Influence the political and regulatory framework and contribute to good working conditions for interim management in Norway.

Who can become a member?

BIMSN is an association for companies that offer interim management services as a central part of their business. Membership provides:
